Skin Whitening



Skin whitening refers to treatments and products to brighten up or even out the skin tone for both localized areas and at times, to lighten up skin color for the whole body.

Localized area skin whitening generally requires targeted treatment to the specific sites. Both treatments and products applied to the interested areas are the most expedient and effective ways to improve skin brightening.

Whole body skin whitening generally requires systemic, internal administration of medicine via oral uptake, intramuscular, or intravenous injections of various sun protecting, pigment lightening bioactives.


Two of the most common conditions of hyperpigmentation are melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation(PIH).

Melasma can be can be caused by hormone conditions, pregnancy, menopause, low thyroid function, use of birth control pills, hormones, or photosensitizing drugs, frequent use of fragrant cosmetics.

Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation can be caused by any skin inflammation such as acne and use of aggressive skin products, cosmetic laser, or peels.
