Laser is a focused beam of intense, “single-colored” light and heat energy with a specific wavelength but variable intensity and pulse duration designed to selectively interact with specific tissues of the skin.

As for preparation, proper topical medical product regimen is initiated prior to treatment. Once the skin is primed, treatment can be started.After numbing medicine is washed off, the lasers are activated. Pin point rubber band like sensations will be felt, while the skin is cooled during most of the time. Sequential lasers are then used. Topical anti-inflammatory agents and sunblock are then used.

Generally, several sessions are required.

Results are more precise, longer lasting, and more complete when treatments are done in stages.
