Commonly, all parts of the treatment, including LLL and intravenous micronutrient replenishment therapy, are done in one single session.
Initially, low level light(LLL) of various wavelengths are deployed. Since low level light is “cold”, there is no sensation of heat, as compared to the “hot” laser. After adequate fluid and food intake, intravenous micronutrient replenishment therapy is begun simultaneously.
After the procedure, further cooling is provided, followed by anti-redness medicine and sunblock.
As for all treatments for intravenous micronutrient replenishment therapy, screening testing is necessary to help individual dosing. Screening urine and saliva testing of antioxidant function is necessary for basic micronutrient therapy. Blood wellness testing is required for more comprehensive intravenous micronutrient replenishment therapy.
Generally, multiple sessions are required.
The treatment takes about one hour in an outpatient clinic setting.
Oral or topical anesthesia is not necessary.
