Clear + Brilliant Laser
Melasma Laser
This laser, a diode fractional laser, is based on 1440 and 1927 nm wavelengths which target primarily water for skin resurfacing.
Laser is a focused beam of intense, “single-colored” light and heat energy with a specific wavelength but variable intensity and pulse duration designed to selectively interact with specific tissues of the skin.
The effect of laser depends on wavelength, degree of cooling, intensity of energy or fluence, pulse duration ranging from picoseconds to milliseconds, the intended targets, and skin type of the individuals. The effect of laser on tissues is specific and is based on the principle of selective photothermolysis.
Most lasers thus targets primarily very specific components of the skin. As such, combination treatments with other modalities and lasers generally produce broader and more effective outcome.
Laser can be used to treat the following conditions:
- Skin tone
- Melasma
- Postinflammatory pigmentation
- Diffuse pigmentation
- Pigmented spots

Frequent Ask Question
As for preparation, proper topical medical product regimen is initiated prior to treatment. Once the skin is primed, treatment can be started.
After numbing medicine is washed off, the lasers are activated. Pin point rubber band like sensations will be felt, while the skin is cooled during most of the time. Sequential lasers are then used. Topical anti-inflammatory agents and sunblock are then used.
Generally, several sessions are required.
Results are more precise, longer lasting, and more complete when treatments are done in stages.
The treatment takes about half hour in an outpatient clinic setting
Topical anesthesia may be used.
Results are gradual and can be seen beginning in three weeks. More effects will generally require multiple sessions of therapy.
Results last one year and longer when proper topical medical product regimen is maintained.
Continued therapy, especially when combined with topical medicine regiment, would maintain and enhance results.
For more aggressive and faster results, combination with other modalities will be helpful.
Recovery lasts a few days.
Mild flakiness, redness, and dryness are expected.
Mild redness, crusting, or temporary darkening is noted.
Prescription pain medications are generally not necessary.
Most people return to work and activities in a few days.
